# Adding Credits

Add credits to your workspace balance to fund AI usage and tool execution costs.

## Before you begin

- You must be a workspace administrator.
- A payment method must be saved to your workspace. If you have not added one yet, see [Setting up a payment method](setting-up-a-payment-method.md).
- The minimum credit purchase is $0.50 and the maximum is $10,000 per transaction.

## Steps

### 1. Open the billing panel

Navigate to the **Workspace** page. The **Billing** section appears below the active workspace card.

### 2. Click Add Credits

Click the **Add Credits** button on the balance card. A dialog opens prompting you to enter an amount.

If the button opens a payment method dialog instead, your workspace does not have a saved payment method. Complete the payment setup first, then try again.

### 3. Enter the amount

Type the dollar amount you want to add in the **Amount (USD)** field. The amount must be at least $0.50.

### 4. Confirm the purchase

Click **Continue**. The button shows "Processing..." while the charge is submitted to your saved payment method.

### 5. Verify the updated balance

Once the transaction completes, the dialog closes and the balance card updates to reflect the new credit amount.
