# Setting Up a Payment Method

Save a payment method to your workspace to enable credit purchases and automatic top-ups.

## Before you begin

- You must be a workspace administrator.

## Steps

### 1. Open the billing panel

Navigate to the **Workspace** page. The **Billing** section appears below the active workspace card.

### 2. Open the payment method dialog

Click the **Payment Method** button (credit card icon) in the top-right corner of the billing panel. A dialog opens with a secure card entry form.

If you already have a payment method saved, the dialog shows your current card (for example, "Visa ending in 4242") and lets you replace it.

### 3. Enter your card details

Fill in your card information in the secure form. The form is provided by Stripe and accepts credit and debit cards. Card details are sent directly to Stripe and are not stored by the application.

### 4. Save the payment method

Click **Save**. The button shows "Saving..." while the payment method is confirmed with Stripe.

### 5. Verify the setup

Once saved, the dialog closes. The **Payment Method** button now reflects your saved card. You can now add credits and configure automatic top-ups.

If you had a pending credit purchase or top-up configuration waiting on a payment method, it is applied automatically after the card is saved.
